Valeria Moreiro is Co-Founder and Executive Creative Director of NotReal, a design-driven creative house based in Madrid and Buenos Aires. Born in Argentina with journalist parents who inspired her love for print and visual communication, Valeria studied graphic design before working through Buenos Aires' motion design studios. Her visionary creative direction and branding expertise have transformed NotReal into an innovative force, creating projects for Microsoft, Squarespace, eBay, Google, and Nike. Valeria excels at striking the perfect balance between creativity and organization, leading complex CGI design systems and live-action scenarios. Currently based in Madrid with her family and their Chihuahua Roma, she's recognized internationally as a speaker and creative leader inspiring the design community.

What Does It Mean to Be Creative?

What does it really mean to be creative today? For NotReal, creativity isn't about making beautiful art or chasing trends—it's about mixing ideas, references, and disciplines, taking thoughtful risks, and building meaningful solutions within real constraints of briefs, budgets, time, and expectations. Creativity is born from limitation; problems are not interruptions, but part of the creative act itself. Through real processes and work in progress, Valeria and Milton share an honest view on how they create: anticipating problems, balancing planning with intuition, knowing when to zoom out for the bigger picture and when to zoom in. Why? To make the world more joyful, more colorful, and elevate visual standards around us.
