Crafting Emotion with Technology & Innovation

LANGUAGE: ENGLISH

How we use technology to empathize in a fast-moving world of AI, information overload, and fear of change. Drawing from Laundry's work with world-class brands spanning Sphere, Apple, Tyler the Creator, Linkin Park, Nike, and more, PJ Richardson explores how motion design, animation, and visual storytelling can create genuine human connection despite technological acceleration. In an era when the creative industry faces constant pressure to adapt, this talk examines how technology becomes a tool for empathy rather than replacement—balancing innovation with emotional authenticity. Through real projects and honest reflection, PJ shares how designers can navigate chaos, maintain creative integrity, and use technology to craft experiences that resonate deeply and move culture forward.
