Gabriele Ricci is Italian award-winning Creative and Motion Design Director working at intersection of design, storytelling, and strategy. With over 15 years experience, he directed high-end visual campaigns for global brands including Emporio Armani, Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Sky Italia, and created 3D promotional film for Arnold Schwarzenegger's book published by Taschen.
Through RICCI – Design in Motion®, he explores how technology can amplify human vision rather than replace it—integrating 3D, motion design, and AI into emotionally resonant visual narratives. Work blends strategic thinking with artistic sensitivity, transforming complex ideas into immersive experiences that move audiences across cultures. Based Milan, manages projects from conception to final delivery, leading multidisciplinary teams of talented artists united by passion for design, innovation, and uncompromising aesthetics. Awards include Motion Design Awards recognition (Jury Member 2024; projects for Taschen, Emporio Armani, Vasily Klyukin, Ray-Ban), Premio Mediastar (Special Star for Creative Direction 2023, Art Direction 2022, First Place Categoria Sigle 2022). Since 2019, mentors emerging designers at Scuola Civica del Cinema Luchino Visconti and Nid Nuovo Istituto di Design. Deeply inspired by nature, animals, and systems of intelligence found in natural world, Ricci advocates for conscious dialogue between humans, technology, and environment—where design is not only seen, but deeply experienced.
