The AI Hangover and How to Get Sober

LANGUAGE: ITALIAN

We've all been there. That typical "morning after" legendary party. Headache and dry mouth. For last two years, global creative industry has been living through exactly that: massive AI hangover.

Francesco Marzoli examines industry's relationship with generative AI through lens of decades working at intersection of cinematic VFX and luxury brands. Drawing from founding Sileent—international AI content studio—and experience delivering high-stakes projects for brands like IWC Schaffhausen, Panerai, and major Disney productions, Francesco reveals what happens when initial AI excitement collides with production reality. The hangover: unrealistic expectations, failed workflows, creative teams paralyzed between resistance and blind adoption. How do we get sober? Francesco presents practical framework for integrating AI into creative processes without losing craft, soul, or professional standards. From AI-generated casting and environments to automated creative workflows at scale, this talk demonstrates how studios can move beyond hype cycle toward sustainable AI adoption that amplifies human creativity rather than replacing it. For creative directors, VFX artists, brand managers navigating generative AI revolution, Francesco offers roadmap from hangover to clarity—showing how next-gen AI content serves human emotion, not synthetic spectacle.
